The movebox RFID System is a system for identifying objects using radio frequencies and showing the product information on a LCD Monitor. The movebox RFID system comprises an antenna (reader), the movebox player board incl. RFID controller and the RFID labels (tags). The significant advantage of the movebox RFID systems is the non-contact technology. Because RFID labels need not be "seen" to be read, they can be buried under a variety of things. The label with a chip (size of a grain) carry electronically programmed unique information and can be scanned from anywhere between 2 cm to 50 m.
The price of the movebox RFID System depend on the frequency system: Low-frequency systems have short reading ranges and lower system costs. High-frequency systems, offering long read ranges (greater than 20 m) and high reading speeds. The higher performance of high-frequency RFID systems incurs higher system costs.
